This Monday NAIOP members, friends, and family honored Chris Korjenek for her years of extraordinary accomplishments and dedication to NAIOP-Wisconsin. Appropriately held at the Wisconsin Club, speakers included Lyle Landowski – NAIOP President, Tom Larson – WRA & Lobbyist, Dave Misky – Redevelopment Authority from the City of Milwaukee, former NAIOP Board Presidents Richard Lincoln and Michael Mooney, John Schwab – Wipfli, and Mary Claire Lanser – Lanser Public Affairs.
During the very special night Chris was presented with the distinguished J. Michael Mooney Award, only the third person to receive such an honor. May 4th was proclaimed “Chris Korjenek Day” by the City of Milwaukee, and she was also honored with a framed letter of recognition from the NAIOP Corporate Office, along with NAIOP Wisconsin presenting her with a gift card to Nordstrom’s.
Thank you to the many people who showed up to honor Chris and send her off with their best wishes, and a special thank you again to Chris Korjenek for serving our organization and community exceptionally well, you will be sorely missed.
