Membership Categories

Principal Member:  Any individual employed by a company or organization whose primary business is the development, ownership, management of, or investment in industrial, office, retail or mixed use commercial real estate.

Principal Affiliate Member: The second or subsequent person from the principal firm, within the same chapter, may join NAIOP at a reduced rate.

Associate Member:  Any individual employed by a company or organization whose primary business is providing services or products to the commercial real estate industry.

Associated Affiliate Member:  The second or subsequent person from the asociate member firm, within the same chapter, may join NAIOP at a reduced membership rate.

Developing Leader:  Any individual age 35 or under; excluded from qualfiying a company for a corporate based membership program. Proof of age must be provided.

Academician Member:  Any full-time professor who is not otherwise employed in commercial real estate or a related industry.

Public Official Member:  Any local, state or federal government; non-profit organization or individual employed by one of these organizations.

Student Member:  Any full-time student who is not otherwise employed in the commercial real estate industry
