NAIOP Wisconsin Members Visit Capital Hill for Annual Chapter Legislative and Leadership Retreat
Seven members of NAIOP Wisconsin’s leadership team traveled to Washington DC on February 9 for the associations annual Chapter Legislative and Leadership Retreat. This annual event draws 400 leaders from other NAIOP chapters in North America to discuss leadership best practices and federal legislative priorities. Attendees heard from keynote speakers Stu Rothenberg of The Rothenberg Report and Colorado Senator Cory Gardner.
Members also traveled to Capital Hill on February 11 for eight meetings with legislators including Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Congressman James Sensenbrenner and newly elected Congressman Glen Grothman. Members in attendance were Mike Slavish, Hovde Properties, Leslie Scherrer, the Peter Scherrer Group, Tim VandeKamp, O’Neil Cannon Hollman DeJong and Laing, Burton Metz, Wangard Partners, Jason Korb, Korb Tredo Architects, Heidi Price and Chris Korjenek, NAIOP Wisconsin.
