Three Special Elections on Tuesday, November 19th
On Tuesday, November 19th, voters in the 69th, 21st and 82nd Assembly Districts will go to the polls in a special election to fill vacancies created by the recent retirements of Reps. Scott Suder (R-Abbotsford), Mark Honadel (R — South Milwaukee), and Jeff Stone (R – Greenfield).
In the 69th Assembly District, Republican Bob Kulp, a roofing contractor from Stratford, will take on Democrat Kenneth Slezak, a retired business owner from Neillsville, and Independent Tim Swiggum, a former mayor of Owen, and current executive director of the Owen Community Development Authority.
In the 21st Assembly District, Republican Jessie Rodriguez, an outreach coordinator for Hispanics for School Choice from Franklin, will go up against Elizabeth Coppola, an employee for the United Way from South Milwaukee.
In the 82nd Assembly District, a Republican primary election will be held between four candidates — Shari Hanneman of Franklin, Ken Skowronski of Franklin, Stephanie Mares of Greendale and Steve Becker of Franklin. The winner of the GOP primary will face John Hermes of Greendale in the general election to be held on Tuesday, December 17.
